What does the Allergy Check entail?
The questionnaire:
When you participate in the Allergy Check, you will complete a questionnaire in preparation. This questionnaire will be reviewed during your appointment to get a clear picture of your symptoms.
The test:
After reviewing the questionnaire, a skin prick test is conducted. During this test, several allergens are introduced into the skin with small needles. This way, it can be determined whether you have an allergy.
The allergens tested for include:
- Grasses
- Trees
- Dust mites
- Dogs
-Cats
Analysis and results:
Fifteen minutes after the pricks, the skin is analyzed to see if any reaction to one of the allergens has occurred. You will receive the results of this test.
If an allergy is detected, it is advisable to make an appointment with your general practitioner to discuss a treatment plan. Corporate Vitality can also provide a direct referral to the KNO Medical Center. This allows you to get help quickly and follow the appropriate care path to alleviate your symptoms.
The cost of the Allergy Check is 98 euros. Payment is required upon completion of the Allergy Check.
